The CERAR, Centre for Study and Action Research on Resilience, was created in Paris in 2013. It is at the origin of several projects such as the Building Sumud Project in Palestine for the populations of the historic centre of Hebron and the Bedouin populations from the South Hebron Hills; of the Observatory of Symbolic Violence in Colombia with indigenous populations, peasants and Afro-descendants; in India and Bolivia with vulnerable young people and in the Central African Republic with local associations.
“Our local partners are the primary source of inspiration for all our ambitions”
Brigitte PIQUARD, CERAR President
CERAR brings together a multidisciplinary and international team of experts in action research, mentorship and capacity strengthening of local organizations and support of their community mobilization initiatives.
We put our experiences and knowledge at the service of all those
who care about the recognition and promotion of local actors,
to support them and accompany them in their resilience initiatives.
You are a representative of a local or international NGO, of a local or territorial community, a researcher, journalist or student, do not hesitate to contact us, to join us, for training, local mentorship, research or simply for exchanging ideas, practices or experiences.
